3 New Summer Recipes for Swamp Dirt

It’s true. We put Swamp Dirt on pretty much everything. Here are a few new recipes we’ve tried at home:

nachos using Swamp DirtLayer a plate with tortilla chips covered with shredded cheddar; melt cheese in a microwave or oven. Sprinkle with Swamp Dirt and top with your choice of salsa, sour cream, black olives, shredded chicken.

Spray a skillet with non-stick spray. In a medium bowl, mix 2 eggs, 2 tbsp egg whites, 1 tbsp milk. Chop up your choice of green, yellow and red bell pepper, canadian bacon, pre-cooked bacon and tomato. Pour egg mixture in hot skillet, sprinkle in chopped veggies and meats. Sprinkle salt, pepper, Swamp Dirt to taste.  Once the bottom of the egg mixture strengthens, flip eggs loosely until fully-cooked. Serve with sliced avocado sprinkled with salt, pepper and Swamp Dirt.

pinto beans with Swamp DirtSoak 1 bag of Camellia Brand pinto beans over night. Add soaked beans to crock pot with smoked ham hock, minced garlic, onion powder and Swamp Dirt to taste. Optional – add a few dashes of liquid smoke. Cover with water, stir. Cook on low for 8-10 hours, stirring occasionally. Once the beans are softened, mash some up to create a thicker consistency (this all depends on how you like yours.) Serve with salsa and/or sour cream.
